2016 NVoT Reunion and Promotion Party

New Visions of Tomorrow hosted a promotion party featuring new and familiar faces. On the agenda was an overview of NVoT's history, mission, and inspiration, featuring the organization Co-Founders and Advisors. Afterwards, several executive board members delivered speeches on entrepreneurship, innovation, and public speaking. 

2016 Stanford vs. Pepperdine Men's Volleyball Fundraiser

New Visions of Tomorrow was in charge of a concession stand, The Dog House, during the Stanford vs. Pepperdine men's volleyball game. Volunteers were in charge of preparing and selling food and drinks to the audience, with all commissionary proceeds going to our organization. The funds raised will support our future activities in coordinating and hosting future volunteer events, as well as collaborations with any other nonprofits serving the blind.

2016 Stanford vs. UCLA Men's Basketball Fundraiser

New Visions of Tomorrow participated in the Stanford concessions stands during the home game against UCLA. Volunteers were in charge of preparing and selling food and drinks to the audience (The Dog House), with all proceeds going to our organization. Our successful fundraising will support our future service events and collaborations with other nonprofits serving the blind.

2016 Stanford vs. Washington State Women's Basketball Fundraiser

New  Visions of Tomorrow was in charge of a concessions stand, The Dog House, during  the Stanford vs. Washington State women's basketball game.  Volunteers prepared and sold food and drinks to the audience, with all proceeds going to our organization. Our successful fundraising will support our future activities as well as nonprofits for the visually impaired.

2016 Annual Party

The New Visions  of Tomorrow thanks every member for their contributions to the organization during the past year of formation. NVoT hosted a party at SVC Angel Club to commemorate this year's winners of the President's Volunteer Service Award, recap the events and activities NVoT hosted throughout the year, including a discussion panel between past and present executive NVoT members. Eight members of our organization won a silver or gold level award honoring the volunteer services that they put in over the year. The awards package includes recognition from the White House and President Obama.

2015 Winter Skating Event

It is the return of the winter skating party, once again hosted with Vista Center this year at the Winter Lodge in Palo Alto! The cold wasn't able to deter everyone from exercising and having fun skating. NVoT members were on hand to make sure that the visually impaired youth had companions and received guidance as they skated. Additionally, volunteers on hand helped to serve dinner, lace skates, and other miscellaneous activities.

New Visions of Tomorrow was in charge of a concession stand, Top Chips, during the Stanford vs. Notre Dame football game. Volunteers were in charge of preparing and selling food and drinks to the audience, with all proceeds going to our organization. Our successful fundraising will support nonprofits for the visually impaired, as well as for our future activities in coordinating and hosting  future volunteer events.

New  Visions of Tomorrow was in charge of two of the concessions stands, Top Chips and TD Sliders, during the Stanford vs. Cal football game. Volunteers prepared and sold food and drinks to the audience, with all commissionary proceeds going to our organization. Our successful fundraising will support nonprofits for the visually impaired, as well as our future activities.

2015 Stanford vs. Oregon Football Fundraiser

New Visions of Tomorrow participated in Stanford concessions  stands during the home game against Oregon. Volunteers were in charge of preparing and selling food and drinks to the audience (Top Chips and TD Sliders), with all commissionary proceeds going to our organization. Our successful fundraising will support our future activities as well as any collaborations with nonprofits aiding the visually impaired.

2015 Scavenger Hunt Event

New Visions of Tomorrow recently held a scavenger hunt for visually impaired children at the Stanford Shopping Center. Participants were challenged to retrieve tickets from a selection of stores from the Stanford mall, competing in groups to navigate in the busy and complex setting. All the teams were successful and had a great time learning to ask for directions and finding their way. 

2015 San Jose Earthquakes vs. LA Galaxy Soccer Fundraiser

New Visions of Tomorrow was in charge of a concessions stand during San Jose Earthquake's professional soccer game against the LA  Galaxy. Volunteers prepared and sold food and drinks to the audience, with proceeds supporting our organization. Our successful fundraising will   support resources for visually impaired children, as well as our future activities.

2015 Sense-ation Science Event

New Visions of Tomorrow partnered with SENSE-ational Science to hold a science event for visually impaired youth at Lawson Middle School in Cupertino. Some of the featured activities included presentation of extraterrestrial samples and hands-on observations. Additionally, kids conducted chemistry experiments involving exothermic and endothermic reactions.

2015 Stanford vs. UCSB Men's Volleyball Fundraiser

New Visions of Tomorrow was in charge of a concessions stand, The Dog House, during the Stanford's men's volleyball game against UCSB. Six volunteers were in charge of preparing and selling food and drinks to the audience, with all proceeds going to our organization. Our successful fundraising will support nonprofits for the visually impaired, as well as our future activities in coordinating and hosting future volunteer events.

2015 Gunn Blind Awareness Event

The Gunn New Visions of Tomorrow chapter club put on a school-wide Gunn Blind Awareness event with guest speaker Laila Adle, a vision specialist in charge of PAUSD district programs implemented for visually impaired students. Attendees were able to learn about the services and typical lessons available, as well as sample textbooks, typewriters, and translational tools available.

2015 Stanford vs. Cal Women's Basketball Fundraiser

New Visions of Tomorrow was in charge of one concession stand during Stanford's women's basketball game against Texas. About 10 volunteers were in charge of preparing and selling food and drinks to the audience, with all proceeds going to our organization. Our successful fundraising will support nonprofits for the visually impaired, as well as our future activities in coordinating and hosting future volunteer events.

2015 Annual Party

New Visions of Tomorrow hosted a party at Innospring's headquarters to commemorate this year's winners of the President's Volunteer Service Award, recap the events and activities NVoT hosted throughout the year, and facilitate discussion between prospective and current NVoT members. More than 50 people attended to listen to board members present the year's successes and  get to know each other.  In addition, 12 members of our organization won a bronze, silver, or gold medal honoring the volunteer services that they put in over the year.
