2016 Vista Center Donation

On October 24, 2016, a few of our members were present to give fundraising proceedings to the Vista Center, a non profit organization dedicated to care for blind and visually impaired people. Pictures are below:

2016 Stanford vs Colorado Football Fundraiser

New Visions of Tomorrow again managed concession stands on October 22 against Colorado. Volunteers sold hot dogs and other items to the audience with a portion of the revenues going to NVoT. Our successful fundraising will support nonprofits for the visually impaired, as well as our future volunteer events. 

2016 Stanford vs Washington State Football Fundraiser

New Visions of Tomorrow managed concession stands on Saturday, October 8 during the home game against Washington State. Although Stanford suffered a tough loss, NVoT volunteers were in charge of preparing and selling food and drinks to the audience at The Dog House, with all proceeds going to our organization. Our successful fundraising will support nonprofits for the visually impaired, as well as our future volunteer events.

2016 Stanford vs. USC Football Fundraiser

New Visions of Tomorrow managed concession stands on September 17 during the home game against USC. Volunteers were in charge of preparing and selling food and drinks to the audience at The Dog House, with all proceeds going to our organization. Our successful fundraising will support nonprofits for the visually impaired, as well as our future volunteer events.

2016 Magical Bridge Playground: Interactive Event

New Visions of Tomorrow coordinated an interactive trip to the Magical Bridge Playground in Palo Alto for the Vista Center youths. Volunteers helped and played with visually impaired children in the playground. Afterwards, NVoT volunteers served pizza.

2016 Stanford vs. Kansas State Football Fundraiser

New Visions of Tomorrow was in charge of a concession stand, The Dog House, during the Stanford vs. Kansas state football game. Volunteers were in charge of preparing and selling food and drinks to the audience, with all proceeds going to our organization. The funds raised will support our future activities in coordinating and hosting future volunteer events, as well as collaborations with any other nonprofits serving the blind.

 

2016 SJ Earthquakes vs. LA Galaxy Soccer Fundraiser

New Visions of Tomorrow was in charge of one of the concession stands during the sold-out Earthquakes vs. Galaxy game. Volunteers were in charge of preparing and selling food and drinks to the audience, with all proceeds going to our organization. Our successful fundraising will support nonprofits for the visually impaired, as well as our future activities in coordinating and hosting future volunteer events.

2016 Stanford vs. UCLA Men's Basketball Fundraiser

New Visions of Tomorrow participated in Stanford concessions  stands during the home game against UCLA. Volunteers were in charge of preparing and selling food and drinks to the audience (The Dog House), with all proceeds going to our organization. Our  successful fundraising will support nonprofits for the visually impaired, as well as our future  volunteer events.

2016 Junior Museum and Zoo: Interactive Event

New Visions of Tomorrow's volunteers worked with Vista Center to introduce visually impaired children to visually impaired adults at the Palo Alto Junior Museum and Zoo. Volunteers helped guide visitors around the zoo, handed out pizza during dinner, and watched over children.

2016 Stanford vs. Long Beach Men's Volleyball Fundraiser

New Visions of Tomorrow managed concession stands on April 2 during the home game against Long Beach. Volunteers were in charge of preparing and selling food and drinks to the audience at The Dog House, with all proceeds going to our organization. Our successful fundraising will support nonprofits for the visually impaired, as well as our future volunteer events.

2016 Happy Hollow Zoo: Interactive Event

New Visions of Tomorrow's volunteers worked with Vista Center to bring along youth individuals to Happy Hollow Zoo in San Jose. Visitors attended a Growing Up Wild Class where they learned about how animals are born, have different life stages, and become like their parents. Volunteers helped guide visually impaired visitors around the zoo, handed out food during lunch, and watched over children and their families. 

2016 Board of Directors Meeting at Vista Center

New Visions of Tomorrow attended the meeting with the Board of Directors of Vista Center for the Blind and Visually impaired, where NVoT Founder Joy Jin spoke about the inspiration behind this organization. Afterwards, NVoT presented a $1000 donation to the Vista Center for use in their Youth Group programs aiding blind and VI children.

2016 NVoT Reunion and Promotion Party

New Visions of Tomorrow hosted a promotion party featuring new and familiar faces. On the agenda was an overview of NVoT's history, mission, and inspiration, featuring the organization Co-Founders and Advisors. Afterwards, several executive board members delivered speeches on entrepreneurship, innovation, and public speaking.

New Visions of Tomorrow was in charge of a concession stand, The Dog House, during the Stanford vs. Pepperdine men's volleyball game. Volunteers were in charge of preparing and selling food and drinks to the audience, with all commissionary proceeds going to our organization. The funds raised will support our future activities in coordinating and hosting future volunteer events, as well as collaborations with any other nonprofits serving the blind.

New Visions of Tomorrow participated in the Stanford concessions stands during the home game against UCLA. Volunteers were in charge of preparing and selling food and drinks to the audience (The Dog House), with all proceeds going to our organization. Our successful fundraising will support our future service events and collaborations with other nonprofits serving the blind.

New  Visions of Tomorrow was in charge of a concessions stand, The Dog House, during  the Stanford vs. Washington State women's basketball game.  Volunteers prepared and sold food and drinks to the audience, with all proceeds going to our organization. Our successful fundraising will support our future activities as well as nonprofits for the visually impaired.

2016 Annual Party

The New Visions  of Tomorrow thanks every member for their contributions to the organization during the past year of formation. NVoT hosted a party at SVC Angel Club to commemorate this year's winners of the President's Volunteer Service Award, recap the events and activities NVoT hosted throughout the year, including a discussion panel between past and present executive NVoT members. Eight members of our organization won a silver or gold level award honoring the volunteer services that they put in over the year. The awards package includes recognition from the White House and President Obama.

2015 Winter Skating Event

It is the return of the winter skating party, once again hosted with Vista Center this year at the Winter Lodge in Palo Alto! The cold wasn't able to deter everyone from exercising and having fun skating. NVoT members were on hand to make sure that the visually impaired youth had companions and received guidance as they skated. Additionally, volunteers on hand helped to serve dinner, lace skates, and other miscellaneous activities.

New Visions of Tomorrow was in charge of a concession stand, Top Chips, during the Stanford vs. Notre Dame football game. Volunteers were in charge of preparing and selling food and drinks to the audience, with all proceeds going to our organization. Our successful fundraising will support nonprofits for the visually impaired, as well as for our future activities in coordinating and hosting  future volunteer events.

2015 Stanford vs. Cal Football Fundraiser

New  Visions of Tomorrow was in charge of two of the concessions stands, Top Chips and TD Sliders, during the Stanford vs. Cal football game. Volunteers prepared and sold food and drinks to the audience, with all commissionary proceeds going to our organization. Our successful fundraising will support nonprofits for the visually impaired, as well as our future activities.
