Teen Chef David taught the children how to make pizza, baked chicken drumsticks, and apple pie from the recipe of the blind winner of Master Chef season 3 Christine Ha from raw ingredients. Our volunteers helped guide the children to identify different textures, such as the soft, pillow-like feel of the dough or the smooth outer skin of the tomatoes that create the pizza sauce.
