Letting the kids express their creative side, New Visions hosted a ceramic event at Halo Pottery by Hila Itzhak.
Hila, the instructor taught them how to make a basic bowl, utilizing a coil method to build up the walls of the bowl. Participants had a chance to work with different types of tools to smooth, scratch, and manipulate the clay as well as choose their own paints to decorate their bowls.
It was a messy yet rewarding event for the visually impaired children as they got to get down and dirty to express their own styles!
