New Visions of Tomorrow helped hand out snacks for the robotics members participating in the FLL Qualifier at Blach Middle School. In the competition, robotics teams used their knowledge of mechanics and computers to address real world problems. One project, for example, focused on helping the blind and visually impaired decrease their dependency on a trainer for activities such as running or swimming by using a system of emitters and receivers to direct the athlete. Our successful fundraising will support nonprofits for the visually impaired, as well as our future activities in coordinating and hosting future volunteer events.
